Headrest, Inc. is certified by the American Association of Suicidology. Headrest offers a local hotline, a Teen line and is in partnership with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline to provide crisis coverage in New England and beyond.

The 24-house Crisis Text Line provides round-the-clock support, seven days a week by providing access to the counselors via text messaging.People needing help should send a text with the letters “VT” to 741741.

Grief Support Groups

There are several support groups across New Hampshire for those who have lost a family member, friend or relative to suicide. And, there are many way to get the support you or a loved one needs. Support can be found in peer to peer meetings, internet based programs, and programs for adults and children dealing with grief and loss. Grief Support in NH can be found here.
