Outpatient Treatment and Counseling

Headrest offers two counseling programs for substance use disorders (SUD). Headrest’s counseling services are person centered, sensitive and relevant to cultural and linguistic diversity of the residents/clients being served. All staff are trauma informed.

Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counseling: Headrest offers outpatient substance abuse counseling for adults by appointment and with open access walk-in hours Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Both group and individual treatment modalities are used. If a therapeutic group has more than 10 members, an additional clinician must be added to the group until such time when the group can be separated into 2 groups. Educational groups are not bound by this rule and may have more than 10 individuals in them.

Headrest also offers Intensive Outpatient Counseling. Services are provided in a more intensive and structured individual and group setting and include alcohol and/or other drug treatment services. Activities are also provided according to an individualized treatment plan that includes a range of outpatient treatment services. Services for adults are provided at least 9 hours a week.

If you are interested in receiving these services, please contact Headrest at (603) 448-4872 to complete an Intake Screening and set up an appointment to meet with one of our highly-trained, licensed substance use counselors.
