Decades ago, a young woman called the Headrest Crisis-Suicide Hotline. She was going through a difficult time and needed someone to talk to. Last night at the age of 70 she called again, out of concern for a family in her life that just lost a child to suicide. She was unaware that it was Headrest she was calling since she called 988. She was flabbergasted and excited that Headrest is still taking calls and helping people get through whatever life is throwing at them.
