Donations to Headrest

Your donations are an important resource thatĀ enable us to provide the 24/7/365 crisis hotline service to the Upper Valley community and beyond, now in service for more than 400,000 continuous hours since 1971.

The hotline counselors provide information and advice about referral for substance abuse, mental health, homelessness, social services and domestic violence. The hotline recently received a 5-year certification from the American Association of Suicidology in recognition of how well we meetĀ their standards. Donations from the community provide about half of the support for the hotline, the rest coming from several foundation and town grants.
